Why I play football:

My Name is Monique Aka Mo, MoMo, Suckles. I'm 28 years old. I play football because it's fun and because I'm sick of people telling me I shouldn't be playing because I'm to broken. I'm to young to just roll over and give up. I play because I want to and because I can. I've always played sports since I was young. I played baseball, tackle football, basketball, softball, and even did a year of track and field. I've always played on the boys teams. I loved it because the other teams would think that I couldn't do much but I held my own, and oh boy would that make them mad. I decided to play last year for the Colorado freeze because I wanted to get back into playing a sport and being apart of a team again. I also decided to go for the team because when I told one of the guys I used to work with he said " You wouldn't be able to handle it. You're to small and those girls are big." Well guess what I got out of my comfort zone and said screw it all I can do is try. I'm glad I did because at the end of last year I was nominated along with a couple of other women on the team to go to North Carolina to play in the All Star game. If I wouldn't have taken a chance none of that would have happened for me.

If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be:

Fried chicken, watermelon, and fries
